  • Laurel Hill Cemetary 3822 Ridge Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19132 United States (map)

Act Name: Chimera: Three Mad Rituals

Running Time: 90 minutes

Location: Laurel Hill Cemetery

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Description: The Chimera. A mythical creature made of three bound animals all connected to build something new. Or something wished for that is, eventually, impossible to achieve. It is also a journey in three parts, each one inspired by what has come before.

It is a relationship examined, a dive into the intricacies that bind two people together or pull them apart.

It is a town explored, a travel on the wind through shop windows, balcony blinds, and weathered fence posts to find the shared spirit.

It is a world traveled, discovering a universe filled with possibility, interwoven with vibrant strokes of energy and motion and light.

Join the cast of Chimera as they artfully guide you through three back to back to back improv formats in one 90 minute show. Created by the legendary Del Close, this show is like no other improv show you've seen.

Examine a relationship. Explore a town. Travel a world. Take a journey

See description above for full info as it’s mostly the same; however, people should check this out because it’s really a challenge, and it’s strange and beautiful, and it’s improv, but it’s also ART and theater, and nothing like it is being done in the city right now. Three improv forms back to back, ninety minutes, no breaks, high entertainment.
