BIO. We are representing women with chronic illnesses, pain, or diseases who have felt underrepresented or unheard by doctors, those close to them, and the world around us. Kenwyn Samuel, the director (and cast member) devised of this piece after struggling with the diagnoses of hypothyroidism and PCOS and dealing with daily pain that is still not diagnosed, and wanting to not only channel all of the frustration and depression that comes with this experience but also create a space for cathartic release for other women going through similar experiences.
