Act Name: The Detour
Running Time: 2 Hours
Location: Meet at Welcome Park, 129 Sansom St
Accessibility: This is a walking tour. If you motor horizontally across the face of the planet in another way, send me an email and we can discuss the possibilities. firstname.lastname@example.org
Description: The Detour is an unofficial walking tour of Philadelphia’s ‘historic square mile’ and flips the script on its head in any way possible. Go to the “must sees” and then see something else. Examine structural power and its role in history making. Move away from ONE story towards MULTIPLE. For the local who’s allergic to musty Ben Franklins or anyone who’s interested in exploring their own point of view. Packaged “American History” can suck, but your tour doesn’t have to.
Cast: Technically, just me. Metaphysically? Countless.
Seating: Seated or Standing RSVP with a link )
